Anti-fog Profile Glass Insulator

Anti-Fog Profile

Characterized by deep, long, and widely-spaced under-ribs to prevent electrical arc bridging between adjacent ribs. Features a high leakage distance/spacing ratio (~3.2). Specifically effective in coastal salt-fog environments and heavy industrial pollution.

The mineral fillers embedded in the RTV coating absorb energy from localized corona discharges, preventing the underlying glass from degrading. This technology significantly reduces grid maintenance by eliminating the need for manual washing of insulator strings in polluted regions, providing a cost-effective operational life cycle.
